Jailbreaking your iPhone: The pros and cons

It's legal to jailbreak your phone, but is it worth doing? Last week, the U.S. Librarian of Congress ruled that those who defeat the digital protections of today's smart-phones for non-infringing purposes can not be threatened by the anti-circumvention portion of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act .

The Apple Phone Show: Photo Competition Tip – Avoid Merges

Here’s a simple composition tip – try to avoid merges. Merges are places where lines intersect in such a manner as to distract and run together.

Note the first photo in the post. It shows the grain silo merging with the hill behind it. This causes confusion in the viewer’s eye. It takes the image out of balance and flattens the scene making it look more two-dimensional.
